Anti-aging is on a lot of people’s minds these days. As many people pass the 35 year mark, they are finding their skin is dull, dry, spotty, and less elastic than it once was. You don’t have to accept your skin the way it ages. You can do things to help it retain it’s elasticity, hydrate it and even remove blemishes and other annoying things that happen as skin ages.
The thing to do is get a routine. Routines make it easier to remember and having a facial skin care routine, no matter how old or young you are, will help your skin be healthy and fresh. Who doesn’t want healthy skin?
Daily Wash and Wear
Wash your face in the morning. Wash your face at night. A morning wash can wake you up and it rinses off the grease that may have accumulated over night. Use something gentle with an invigorating scent. Something orange scented would be great. You can also look for something moisturizing to help keep your skin replenished and fight dryness.
At night you want something cleansing that can wash away makeup, grime and whatever else you’ve gotten into that day. Washing your face at night can help combat adult acne too.
Depending on your skin type and your facial needs, there are many things you can do to treat your skin special. One of the more fun things to do is get a facial mask. These can be done from home, and there are some great anti-aging choices too.
Face masks are great to help remove impurities from your skin that have worked their way down deep. There are all different types of masks, and you can choose a different one each week if you want to.
Fun Things in the Kitchen
Your skincare routine for anti-aging can also include items from your very own kitchen. Why not try something new and fun with will make your skin look young and maybe save you some money.
Lemon can lighten skin naturally and help remove blemishes and dark spot. Vitamin E is great for getting your elasticity back, or keeping it if you’re still younger but wanted to get a head start at protecting your skin. If you have tired eyes, rest with some cucumber slices on them (yes, it really does work).
You live with your skin all your life so it just makes sense that you would do everything you can to take care of it. Taking care of it means keeping it clean and healthy. Eating the right foods is another important step to healthy skin because everything you put inside your body affects its outside too!
