Keep free-weights close by. If you have a favorite television program, why not lift a few weights while you’re watching it? We’re not saying that you should do anything strenuous. You can do curls in between commercials and build up your arms in no time.

Do more walking. Definitely one of the best forms of exercise is walking. It helps to strengthen your heart. It builds up your endurance. It burns calories. It helps to increase your muscle tone. It also boosts your energy level too. So, rather than taking the elevator at work, how about the stairs? And once you get home, after dinner, get some time in with your family members by taking a walk around the neighborhood too.

Look for a gym that offers childcare. Say that you recently signed up for a membership at a gym like Fitness 19 but due to your tight schedule, you’re honestly having a hard time trying to stay motivated in the gym. Something that might make things easier for you is if you look for the kind of gym that offers dependable childcare on site. That way, you won’t have to concern yourself with finding a babysitter for your child. Plus, you can keep a few more dollars in your pocket as a direct result.

Make time for yourself. You know the saying: In life, it’s not so much about whether or not you have time but what you choose to make time for. Our point is this: Being that you are a career woman who is also a mother, it’s important that you take time out for yourself whether it’s to do a bit of yoga or even to run on your own treadmill. You should never feel guilty for taking care of you. After all, the healthier you are, the better off everyone around you will be because of it.
